About the event
Uptown Art Club is a free project created by Angie Zapata back in 2018 (formerly known as Lil Artist Club) to bring kids closer to art and self expression. We create a welcoming space where they can make art without the pressure of a school grade or forced into a style. All art supplies are provided for use during the club meet and they can take home any art they make.
Parents are encouraged to participate alongside with us but you don't have to. We prefer that you or an older teen stay with your child but if you must drop off your children a release form with contact info, emergency contact info, and medical info is required. Please reach out to us if you need to fill out release forms.
